What is LANAPTM?

Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP) is an FDA-approved method of treatment for gum disease. This procedure, performed with a special laser to treat the effected gums, stimulates existing stem cells to help regenerate healthy gums and bone growth.

If you are one of the millions of people throughout the United States who suffers from periodontal (gum) disease, LANAP treatment may present a number of benefits for you. In addition to treating gum disease, you may also see a decrease of inflammation in your mouth, a reduction in bleeding gums, an increase in at-home cleaning ease and reduction in the likelihood of tooth loss.

Many patients have not only seen an improvement in their gum disease, but also a regeneration of bone to help secure their teeth in place long term.

Laser treatment is safe for most people with moderate to severe periodontal disease. LANAP does not interfere with prescription medication or negatively impact present health conditions. In fact, the laser used in periodontal treatment allows us to control and minimize any bleeding. The best way to discover whether you are a good candidate for laser gum treatment is to schedule a consultation with our team, then we can evaluate your medical and dental history.
